Nestling between the Pyrenees, the vineyards and the Mediterranean Sea, the village of Collioure is a picture postcard.  Its special light and colour has inspired many artists such as Picasso, Dali and Dufy to name but a few, and many of the little streets house independent galeries and artists studios.  Also famous for its anchovies, many of the restaurants serve paella and tapas as its is a stone's throw away from the Spanish border.  Sipping a cocktail by the sea watching the sun go down is a great way to finsih off a day.
